The annual All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) is a national level medical entrance examination known as the AIIMS MBBS exam conducted by the authority for admission to MBBS seats in all AIIMS institutes located in various parts of India. The AIIMS MBBS exam is the foremost and highly competitive medical entrance test in India which over 3 lakh candidates applying for around 1200 seats.
The AIIMS MBBS test paper will have MCQs in physics, chemistry, biology, and general fact of 200 marks. With one single shift of 31⁄2 hours, the examination takes place in several centers located across India. This year they have to appear in a new aptitude test known as the AIIMS Aptitude Assessment after clearing the main AIIMS MBBS entrance exam for the same. The final merit list is prepared based on the aggregate of the main exam marks of 50% and that of another 50% from placement / aptitude assessment marks.
So far, the AIIMS board hasn‘t unveiled the date of upcoming MBBS 2024 AIIMS exam. The exam is conducted in the month of May every year and the results are usually released in th month of June. Through the conduct of counselling sessions by respective AIIMS college in July-August the candidates receive admission offers. However, the cut-off marks for 2024 have not been announced too, and we are estimating them to be somewhere within the marking range of 200 to 210 out of 720.
