1. MPharm/BPharm Degree
A Master's Degree in Pharmacy (MPharm) or Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy (BPharm) is the minimum requirement for your application to our program.
2. Minimum percentage in the qualifying exam.
In addition to this you must possess at least 55% aggregate grade (50% for SC/ST candidates) in your Mpharm degree or other equivalent degree. Although over several institutes may have an entrance mark of 60% or 65%.
3. Entrance Test
There is a need to have an entrance exam which is either NIPER JEE, GPAT, or CSIR-UGC NET. These exams depend on the type of institution you intend to join. Many of the courses have the prerequisite of high result in these tests.
4. Interview
Acing the entrance examination will get you through to the interview stage where we will test your intellect and research interests to see if you will be a good fit or not.
5. Research Proposal
Along with the proposal surely you'd be a little nervous but you will need to come up with a research proposal on your particular area that should match international standards.
GPAT (Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test): Offered by NTA, medical scientific subjects will be examined for admission to Ph.D. programs and scholarships for the students.
BITS HD Pharmacy Test: BITS Pilani administers the PAT to the candidates to judge them on the basis of Pharmaceutical Sciences for Ph.D. programs in pharmacy.
NIPER JEE (National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research Joint Entrance Examination): A DMAT supervised by NIPERs examines aspirants in pharmaceutical sciences leading to Ph.D. admission in pharmacy
Manipal Entrance Test (MET): This is carried out by Manipal Academy of Higher Education and is an entrance test for the Ph.D. programs in pharmaceutical sciences.
PU CET (Panjab University Common Entrance Test): Organized by Panjab University, a written test on pharmaceutical sciences is used for selection of candidates to Ph.D. programs in pharmacy.
