MText is a 2-year full-time postgraduate course in Textile Design disciplined through various design colleges and universities all over India. The curriculum is designed to equip students with intricate knowledge and techniques relating to cotton craft, manufacturing, technology and research. 

Subject base is the major part of the course, and such subject textile design consists of weaving (basic), stamping, dobby designs, jacquard designs, embroidery, digital textile design and many more. The students learn the technicalities of fabric construction processes like spinning, weaving, knitting, winding, and so forth, as well as the preparation, dying, and printing methods used in the textile industry. Application Process: Fill an online application on the university portal or admission platform indicating personal, academic and professional backgrounds.

Entrance Exam: Do the university's admission test, and you should expect that it can focus on design skills, creativity, and knowledge of textiles.

Portfolio Submission: Prepare a portfolio that demonstrates previous design works, projects, and any related experience in agricultural business. This displays craftsmanship and creativity on the concepts of design.

MText Textile Design Course Eligibility 2024

Bachelor's Degree: Have a university degree of a related discipline from an accredited institution such as textile engineering, textile technology, fashion design, fine arts or an equivalent.

Minimum GPA: Keep an anticipated minimum GPA that falls between 2.5 and 3.0 on a 4.0 scale in undergraduate studies, preferably in textiles or design related fields.

Entrance Exam Scores: Achieve relevant scores in the entrance exams of your choice university, which can evaluate your skill in design innovation and knowledge of fabrics.

Portfolio Submission: Ready & submit a portfolio including prior design works, projects, and textiles-related experience proving you are creative & possess competence in textile design.

English Language Proficiency: Perform well in the English language proficiency tests, like TOEFL or IELTS, if your mother tongue used to teach you throughout the undergraduate school was not English.
