The MIB, or Master of International Business, is provided for postgraduate management courses to develop for managers as leaders and also to develop knowledge in global business. The program duration is full-time 2 years (Full-Time).
MIB program provides training on the fundamentals of management in four principal fields, being finance, marketing, operations and strategy and having an international environment. They are informed about the international business environment, multicultural management, international business regulations, global market entry strategies and production, and control of the global supply chain.
1. Get through undergraduate bachelor’s program from accredited university with good grades, preferably in business economy or related fields.
2. Take GMAT or GRE and perform at comparable levels, presenting your skills in numeracy, logic and critical thinking.
3. Get 2 or 3 recommendation letters from your professors and / or your employers to witness your academic and / or work skills.
4. Write your purpose and goals of the MIB program in a very articulate and well-thought one page personal statement. The MIB program is your focus and direction in your career.
5. Through the resume, you can stress past work experience that is linked to your region of interest, international experience, leadership roles you have held, and language skills you posses.
6. List your target MIB programs based on fit that you may choose from, sending out all your documents accordingly by the admission cut-offs.
1. Bachelor's degree wherein at least 50% of the marks should be secured from any discipline. For those who will be appear for the final exam the last semester can also fill the form.
2. Review the accepted CAT/MAT/GMAT/XAT/CMAT or other state-level test scores. Scores in the test should not be older than two years from the date the application is submitted.
3. It should be noted that the job experience is not a prerequisite. Though candidates may lose grounds due to lack of certain required work experiences, others possessing such experiences may be given preference.
4. There is no prescription for the seniors. In this way, fresh graduates who have just concluded their studies and experienced professionals can all apply.
5. Excellent communication skill, and also financial discipline and resource management. Candidates might have to be part of the group discussing sessions/interview.
6. List of documents such as class 10 and 12 marksheets, graduation marksheets, standardized test scores, work experience certificates if available, latest passport size photographs are mandatory of the applying candidates.
GMAT (Graduate Management Admission Test): It measures skills analytical, writing, quantitative, verbal, and reading. This is usually asked of the candidates as a criterion for the admission into MIB programs.
GRE (Graduate Record Examination): Examines verbal reasoning, quantitative reasoning, critical thinking, and analytical writing abilities. Taken up by some MIB programs.
TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language): The test is used to assess the English proficiency of non-native English speakers who are applying to MIB programs. A must for many universities across the globe.
IELTS (International English Language Testing System): Like TOEFL, targets English language proficiency for non-native English speakers aiming to enter MIB programs.
