The MHM (Masters in Hospitality Management) is a 2-year full-time professional program in Hospitality Management with the affiliation of elite hotel management colleges in India. The core of our curriculum is divided into four specialized areas which cover the study of hotel operations, catering reservation, accommodation operations and management and restaurant management. Additionally, other hospitality management related business skills such as marketing, human resource management, accounting and finance are incorporated in the curriculum.
Students are taught in class for academic subjects as well as practiced during laboratory sessions for mechanical preparation. Students will have to exceptionally complete the compulsory industry internships of 6-8 months in renowned hotels, resorts and fine dining restaurants as the practical aspects build up their practical skills to real work scenarios. A number of these institutions offer students an opportunity to choose a stream in the discipline focusing on core aspects such as Culinary Arts, Event Management and Accommodation Operations.
1. First of all, check suitability condition i.e. having an appropriate undergraduate degree from a recognized university and meet minimum score criteria as set by father colleges. Respond to these schools for MHM while their application is still ongoing.
2. Take the entrance test for the institute or the university to which you seek enrollment. Routine tests are done in many college levels that include NCHMCT JEE and various state-level examinations. The test which emphasizes on quantitative, analytical, and language skills, plays an important role in selection process.

To qualify for the CAT examination, you should have scored at least 50% marks in graduation (reduce this is the case of SC/ST/OBC is 45%). Some institutes may peg the level of marks required for the entry above 50% in graduation.

There is a no set cut-off age and no conditions or criteria for pursuing the course on menstrual health management. As candidates from any age group are eligible to apply for this course, candidates within the age group can prefer this.
4. English proficiency
You have to possess sufficient knowledge in English reading, writing and speaking for the MHM program which involve interacting with foreign individuals. According to the way some institutions carry English language proficiency examination at admissions.
5. Personal Interview
Issuing of interview round is a part of techniques that reputable institutes use before giving admission to filter out your eagerness, inclination and attitude towards hospitality management.
6. On-the-job experience is desirable.
In addition to the regulations set by a particular university, some students with the relevant working experience or 1-2 years in the hotel industry usually have an advantage in being admitted into MHM programs.
NCHM JEE (National Council for Hotel Management Joint Entrance Examination): The entrance exam for admission into hotels-related undergraduate and graduate courses such as MHM is conducted to evaluate candidates' ability to manage subjects like English, mathematics reasoning.
IHM-Aurangabad Entrance Exam: Year I: Entrance test for Assessment of knowledge in subjects related to Hospitality Management for the purpose of admission to Institute of Hotel Management's Master's Degree in Hotel Management.
AIHMCT Entrance Exam: Developed by the Army Institute of Hotel Management and Catering Technology for admission of suitable candidates, testing their proficiency in relevant disciplines.
