Diploma in Civil Engineering is one of the courses in the diploma stream which is of three years duration along with specialization in civil engineering. This course offers training in fields such as construction technology, structural engineering, transport engineering, environmental engineering, geotechnical engineering, etc This training also offers a blend of theory that entails knowledge on specific construction technologies and practical training to enable produce mid-level engineers who can work in construction companies, consultancy firms, and government organizations.

The minimum eligibility criteria for the admission into Diploma in Civil Engineering course is 10+2, The main subjects should be Physics,Chemistry and Mathematics. Following institutes are offering this course and all theses institutes provide admission on the merit obtained in 10+2 examination. Several colleges also have their own admission tests for admission while some have admit students based on scores of certain tests such as; JEECUP, POLYCET, CET. Only a few seats are also available for the lateral entry to second year for participants having ITI diploma in civil trades such as draughtsman civil or surveyor. They cost between INR 35,000 and INR 2 lakhs for the full 3-year program for students in private colleges.
