The Certificate in CAD (Computer Aided Design) is the short-term course whose main objective is to arm an individual with skills in using different CAD software for 2D as well as 3D modeling, drafting, and design. 1. First, determine whether you meet the requirements of the CAD certification course that involve a higher secondary qualification in any field or Diploma in the engineering.

2. Search for a variety of CAD-oriented courses which are conducted by technical institutes or training centers. Pick a reliable institute with the necessary certification. Mind such indicators as the course length, cost, job placement, and the quality of education provided.

3. Admission process of the selected institute is by Online or Offline application of the form. Apart from submitting documents like 10th and 12th mark sheets, ID proof, photos etc.  

4. If your application is admissible, you will be sent an admission letter straightly by the institute, too. This would be considered an indication of your seriousness, thus, you should pay the admission fees to confirm your place for the enrollment.

5. If the institute will be hosting an orientation session, it is important to attend to get adequately acquainted with the course structure, teaching methods, as well as type of exams before the first lesson starts.

1. For the general category students, the minimum qualifying marks should be 50% and for reserved category, it should be 45%. Such students are needed to have finished 10+2 or equivalent in any stream from a recognized board to be eligible for admission.

2. Age limit not important provided the students are computer literate and have sound knowledge of drafting basis. Ability to medicate, maintain tools, and accurate technical drawing is preferable. 

3. Candidate should be aware of the key operating systems, including Windows or, if need be, use graphics software. Previous experience with CAD tools is an advantage, but a lack of it does not cancel them out.

4. In addition, the students who are sitting for the 10+2 exam can also apply. Admission shall be granted provisionally till downloading the marksheet during the admission session.

5. Valid addresses like Aadhar card, driving license or other government approved addresses should be provided during admission process along with the passport size photographs. 

6. Students must possess a physical requirements certificate evidencing capability of undertaking the course as part of the application. Person should not have the disability of any form that hinders the process of learning through the course, for example, colour blindness.
