The B.Des. in Fashion Communication is a 4-year undergraduate program designed to meet needs of the communication within the fashion industry. Students are exposed to topics including how fashion has changed over time, trend of the future, styling, fashion journalism, branding, marketing, and window display.
The program is a combination of theory and practice throughout the curriculum that includes fashion studies, communication design, graphic design , fashion styling, fashion photography, fashion marketing, and fashion media. Through learning, they will be able to get a deeper knowledge of how the fashion industry works as they gain these three useful skills.

1. The minimum eligibility mentioned for admission is class 10+2 (Science, Commerce, Arts) with minimum 50% marks.
2. For reserved candidates from SC/ST category, a pass of minimum 45% in 10+2 about is necessary.
3. Candidates of 10+2 level are also allowed to apply, unless they present the passing certificate within 3 months of course’s commencement.
4. Age does not count as an eligibility factor for this course. However, all Indian and international candidates would be eligible to apply.
5. Such analytical and creative aptitude test will be conducted in order to measure if these skills are present. To qualify for admission, candidates must pass the test that will be administered in the beginning of the application process.
NIFT Entrance Exam: NIFT conducts this test for B.Des in Fashion Communication to asses the candidate’s communication skill, imagination, and passion for fashion media.
Pearl Academy Entrance Exam: This test measures the candidates' talent in design, creativity, and communication, which are essentials for acceptance in B.Des Fashion Communication program at Pearl Academy.
UID Entrance Exam: The aim of UID exam is to measure candidates' capacity in creativity, communication, and designing aptitude in order to select the best candidates for the B.Des Fashion Communication course.
CEED: The Common Entrance Examination for Design is performed with an aim to assess design capability, visual perception and creativity which is required for admission to different design courses including B.Des in fashion communication.
SEED: Symbiosis Entrance Exam for Design testify the candidates with aptitude for design, creativity and skillful communication for admission in B.Des Fashion Communication program at Symbiosis Institute of Design.
MITID DAT: IIT Institute of Design conducts the Design Aptitude Test to assess applicants in creative skills, problem solving, and communication aspect for the B.Des Fashion Communication program.
AIEED: All India Entrance Examination for Design evaluates both candidates' creative skills, design aptitude and communication skills for admission to various design courses including B.Des. in Fashion Communication.
