The Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) in Management Studies is a three-year undergraduate program that arms students with the fundamental concepts of management as well as the ability to apply them in solving challenges facing an organization. Students are knowledgeable about different departments of management, such as marketing, operations, human resources, finance, and strategy.
The coursework of the BCom Management Studies program includes basics in accounting, economics, statistics, business communication, business laws, and management principles. Students will be taking courses regarding other specialties in marketing management, organizational behavior, human resource management, financial management, business analytics.
1. BCom in Management Studies is a 3-year long undergraduate course, that will be teaching participants about the management skills and processes.
2. The program revolves round subjects as accounting, economics, marketing, human resources, operations and finance to ultimately develop your critical and decision-making skills.
3. Candidates must have successfully completed their secondary school studies in any stream if they scored at least 50% in aggregate.
4. Admission testing and interviews are what will be used for the admission process.
5. In internships and management events, how to apply what students derive from books and classes to practical business situations is practised.
1. 10+2 qualify or equal from a recognized board with minimum 50% aggregate marks.
2. This humble suggestion of mine was to study English as one of the subjects during 10+2.
3. In context of identifying a concession, 5% nod points of the reserved category candidates are to be relaxed.
4. Others might go for their own tests, which they use for determining the luck of students in entering their university.
5. Participation in this course does not differentiate between age.
6. Students are eligible to take the certificate course right after their diploma or as the lateral entry basis under the institute rules.
DU JAT (Delhi University Joint Admission Test): Carried out by Delhi University, evaluates students’ knowledge of English, Mathematics, Reasoning and General Awareness, among others.
IPU CET (Indraprastha University Common Entrance Test): Conducted by Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University; looks for English, Mathematics and General Awareness aptitude in candidates.
SET BBA (Symbiosis Entrance Test): Led by Symbiosis International University, it will measure the ability level of candidates at General English, Quantitative and Verbal reasoning.
NPAT BBA (National Test for Programs After Twelfth): Conducted by NMIMS University, students are tested for their ability in Math and Numerical Aptitude, Reasoning and General Intelligence, and Proficiency in English.
UGAT (Under Graduate Aptitude Test): Attributed to AIMA (All India Management Association), evaluates applicants in English Language, Numerical and Data Analysis, Reasoning and General Intelligence and General Knowledge.
