Bachelor of Commerce [B.Com] (Accountancy) Eligibility

1. Candidate must have completed the 10+2 level or its equivalent from a board that is recognized. The Commerce students need to have cleared the class XII examination with Commerce as one of the subjects.

2. Minimum of 45-50%, aggregate marks in 10 + 2. The figure may range from one up to five percent of the total number of faculty of a particular institution. 

3. Correspondingly, there is a maximum of 60% marks set for 10+2 so as to become eligible for a university like Delhi University.

4. Some colleges have admission tests to run a select entry into the BCom Accountancy course. Entrance test passing is also a factor that has to be looked into.

5. Pursuing BCom Accountancy can be an option, even if students come from science or art streams. However, they must undergo some commerce subjects in the very first year in order to commence professional courses.

6. There are no age restrictions for the requirements. Admission is open to both school pass outs and those working while they don’t fail to meet the required percentage.
