BBA in Airport Management is a 3 years undergraduate program which not only train students on various areas of the airport but also build on aspects of airport operations and management. In this course, students discover the management of air transport; marketing for airlines and airports; aviation safety and security; laws and regulations for air travel; cargo handling and ground services provision.

The course covers areas such as airport planning and development, terminal operations, airside operations, landside operations, airline management, aviation laws and regulations, air cargo management, airport safety, airport emergency planning, airport financing, HR planning, customers services, and other related areas. Students encounter operations, management and administration of airport operations through the process. 

Bachelor of Business Administration [BBA] (Airport Management) Admission Process

Application Submission: Fill in the digital application forms and supply personal, educational information and any additional evidence such as a transcript. Also ensure that you satisfy the entry criteria as laid out by the university and other institutions.

Entrance Exam
: Take part in an admission test performed by the assigned university that will check your knowledge abilities in the areas of general knowledge, English proficiency, and logic.

Merit Evaluation: Admission through merits, assessment of EMAT and SAs scores, academic performance and any other criteria as set by the university.

Group Discussion/Interview: The shortlisted applicants have an opportunity to have a group discussion or an interview, in which they assess the communication skills, potential of leading, and the knowledge in aviation industry.

Final Selection: University selects candidates on overall basis from entrance exams, interviews, and academic records, giving a chance for acceptance to successful applicants for the BBA in Airport Management program.

Fee Payment: After being chosen for the scholarships, the candidates need to pay the tuition and other fees within a specified time limit so as to keep their admission and reserve their place in the programme.

Enrollment: Once the admission formalities and fee payment have been fully processed, students officially enroll into the BBA in Airport Management course and the academic journey officially begins.


Bachelor of Business Administration [BBA] (Airport Management) Eligibility

1. The eligibility criteria is perfecting of the higher secondary education either 12th passed or equivalent from a recognized board with 50% of aggregate marks

2. Candidates streams are also not a barrier for applicants whether they are from Arts, Commerce or Science.

3. Age of admission is the unlimited as it can be in BBA (Airport Management). Either freshers who passed 12th grade or working professionals can be accepted.

4. To SC/ST category students, minimum of 45% aggregate marks are required to be obtained in 12th standard.

5. Another category is the 10+2 appearing students; they can also apply for the scholarship. They have the problem of submitting their exit mark sheet by latest August 30.

6. Admission without any entrance test, bases for admissions are 10+2 marks and the candidate has to clear personal interview rounds. 

7. Students, who are to be accepted, must go through medical examinations and should be certified as medically fit. At the time of admission also there is a medical test as well.

8. It is recommended to give student possessing math/statistics as one of the subjects in 10+2 optional subjects status.

9. Certified students or those with experience in the aviation business can increase their chances of consideration compared to those without.

10. English literacy and competence is a must as both of these academic programs are English-based.

Bachelor of Business Administration [BBA] (Airport Management) Entrance Exams

IIM Indore IPM AT: Centers on numerical aptitude, verbal competence, and logical thinking.

GGSIPU CET BBA: Tests the candidate in four essential areas- English language, general awareness, reasoning and numerical ability.

AIMA UGAT: The test skills English, numeracy and data analysis, reasoning and intelligence and general knowledge.

SET BBA: Assesses candidates' proficiency in English, quantitative, general awareness and analytical & logical reasoning.

NPAT BBA: Evaluates aptitude in numerical & quantitative thinking, verbal ability, and logical reasoning.

CUET: They evaluate the knowledge of quantitative techniques, data interpretation, verbal skills and logical reasoning.

JET BBA: Is based on candidate assessment in English language, mathematics, reasoning, and general knowledge.

UPES DAT: Measures quantitative, analytical, and verbal skills as well as general awareness.
