Mithibai College of Arts is a well-known college in Mumbai, having its campus in Vile Parle West; it offers the students a wide range of courses at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels in various fields of study such as Arts, Science, and Commerce. For the BA stream there are certain eligibility criteria which are as follows: The candidate should have passed 12th in any stream From a recognized board like state board, CBSE, ICSE With a minimum aggregate of 45-60% The subjects that are considered for admission are Economics, Psychology, Sociology, English, Hindi, etc. To pursue BCom, one has to fulfill the following eligibility criteria: The candidate should have passed 12th in any stream with Maths/Accounts as one of the subjects with minimum 55% marks. For general BSc courses such as Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Computers Science etc the candidate should have minimum 60% aggregate in 12th science. Current approved qualifying exams include Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC), Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE), and Diploma.

Mithibai College of Arts is located at Vile Parle West in Mumbai, and it provides undergraduate and postgraduate program in arts and commerce streams. For the admission in the undergraduate BA, BCom or BSc course students can fill the admission form online through the college official website www.mithibai.ac.in or else can obtain the form through offline mode. 

The online Application Form is usually available during May and June of every year before the admission process commences. The students are required to visit the portal and get themselves registered, enter some information, upload some documents, pay some amount as an application fee and finally submit the form. For off-line admission, the admission form can be obtained from the college by visiting the college personally and it should be filled and submitted along with documents required and the fee charge. All admissions to the college are merit based on the qualifying examination and students are selected as per their position in the merit list. Selection lists are also put on the website as per the laid down policies and procedures of the university.
