Thiruvalluvar is a state university that possesses a strong hold in Vellore, Tamil Nadu, India. Inaugurate in 2002, it has been named in the honour of the great Tamil poet and thinker, Thiruvalluvar. The University has more than 150 colleges which are affiliated to it and they offer undergraduate and postgraduate programs which are in the field of arts, science, education, engineering, technology and management. Among the accredited study programs, the following are the popular courses on offer: B.A. English Literature, B.Sc. in Computer Science, History Master's in art and Marketing MBA. The dates of English exams for B.A will be from March 15 to 25 2024 and B.Sc 2024 are the dates of English exams for B.Sc. There are several Computer Science exams for the April 5-15, 2024. The admission of 2024 for the school year of 2023-2024 will be started from the month of May 2023. Students can complete online or offline application process by furnishing application form with exam results/mark sheets, certificates, etc. Entrance test may be required for some programs and often, there will be merit for some programs. Thiruvalluvar University Eligibility Criteria 2024

- For undergraduatet programs: The person wanting to take part in the training program must successfully complete Grade 12/ HSC or equivalent from the board recognized by authorities. Some classes require just minimum marks to pass while others have a different system.

- For postgraduate programs: Normally candidates are expected to possess a bachelor's degree related to the field of study with the minimum percentage range varying between 45-55% as an admission requirement.

- For MPhil and PhD: Necessary educational qualifications of candidates include completion of a master's program in the relevant subject with an interval score of at least 70%. Besides, the candidates must pass the university entrance exam in order to enter the institution.

- Mark cut off for reserved category candidate is mandated by the government for minimum eligible marks.

- Some courses may necessitate other criteria for admission, such as entrance exam marks, subject combinations, etc. that the applicants have to satisfy.
