SAU (South Asian University) has already been established successfully which has resulted in the institution becoming the foremost higher education institution of South Asia by 2024. The students of SAARC nation excelled in 2010 and beyond, and now the Intitute has crossed the barrier of 5,000 students from all SAARC regions completing bachelor's, master's, and doctoral degrees in various fields.

The South Asian University (SAU) began to develop by the eight SAARC Member States in order to promote the peace and growth of the region through the education. SAU that is based in New Delhi offers programs on levels of Masters and higher degrees in multiple areas.
The University of the South Arctic has only three schools - Engineering, Legal Studies and Ecology and Environmental Studies. In this regards, the University offers advanced level programs such as Master of Biotechnology, Computer Science, Economics, Mathematics, Sociology, International Relations and Legal Studies.

Meanwhile, there is the Placement Cell in the South Asian University that handles the campus placements by the top national and multinational companies. Among them, at least 50 - 70 companies come for placements and internship programs each year. The maximum remuneration offered that year was INR 18.6 LPA from a consulting firm. The median remuneration was INR 6.5 LPA. Some of the major recruiters are EY and PwC along with other IT firms like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, and Cognizant. Additionally, a significant number of graduates choose to do a postgraduate program in the University Worldwide, such as Master's, and PhD. The depth of employment that students reach is typically around 60%, but some students sometimes reach even 80%. Among others , SAU aims to reinforce the industry interlinkages for the purpose of international exposure for students and career aspirations.
