SCDS Vijayawada has an ambition of being among the best designing colleges of the state of Andhra Pradesh by the year 2024. Samana College of Design Studies Eligibility Criteria 2024

1. Educational Qualification: Candidate should have documents that prove he/she has achieved 10+2 or equivalent education in a recognized body.

2. Minimum Marks: All that is stated is that there is no such mentioned percentage. But to go to the university, students need to have got scores that are higher at 10+2 level to be competitive.

3. Entrance Tests: The college gives due importance to the students scores in NID/NIFT or other exams conducted by the college itself, while maintaining equal opportunity for all. This is crucial because the students need such good scores in order to be admitted.

4. Age Limit: Undergraduate design program admissions for most college/universities are capped at 23 years old. There can be criteria of age relaxation in some special cases.

5. Portfolio: A portfolio of all the creative work of the applicants is to be submitted by a designer seeking admission to such a design program. The in-portfolio has gain commissions in the selection exercise.
