Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan Eligibility Criteria 2024

Education Qualification
The candidates should have already Sanskrit being one of the subject in their class 12th. Some courses are designed for the candidates with the master's or PhD degree in Sanskrit background.
Age Limit
Every person is eligible to register for membership irrespective of age. Fare may have the age limits conditioned by the level of study.
Nationality
Indian citizens are eligible. The decision about the program will depend eventually on the rules that the programs for non-citizens will have.
Entrance Exams
To be able to study particular courses, learners are required to clear an entrance examination held by Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan. For it, there are Prah Shastris, Shastris, Acharya and Vidya Vardhis training courses.
Reservation Criteria

Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan Admission Process 2024

1. Students can apply for a variety of courses such as Shastri (Bachelor of Arts) ,Acharya(Master of Arts) and PhD and diploma courses in Sanskrit as well.
2. The candidates for Shastri and Acharya courses are selected through a national level entrance examination conducted by the Sansthan at all the India. It involves indirect type of questions which require students to assess their mastery of the Sanskrit language and literature.
3. The candidates must pass the written exam and the interview test which is held in the second step. A grant proposal along with the application package needs to be submitted as well.
4. Generally, the openings are in April and the exam period is scheduled in May-June. The result is revealed at the end of July.
5. As such, entrance tests form a critical aspect of the admission process alongside minimum entry requirements such as academic qualifications and age limit.
6. As per the guidelines of Government of India, Reservation norms are followed carefully to ensure equal opportunity and fairness during candidate selection.
7. The course fee for the most demanded courses is not at all high, and meritorious and talented students are also awarded with the scholarships. Hostel room could be secured on request, depending on availability.
