To apply, one must first register for an account and then sign in to access the job application process. The application process also has an offline component for some of the programs and candidates must send/submission printed copy of the completed application form along with attested/notarized mark sheets, certificates recommendation letters, passport size photographs, and other mandatory documents through post or in person to the Bangalore campus. - It involves a competitive Common Entrance Test, which is held for admissions at NMIMS institute as well, hence known as NMIMS-CET.

NMIMS Bangalore BBA Selection Criteria

- The admission to its various courses is done through the NMIMS-NPAT test only. This is one of the online common entrance tests for management courses offered by NMIMS university.

- Candidates satisfying the NPAT scores get selected for a personal interview and a group discussion round with the company. The marks secured in the PI-GD held in the last round do form a part of the final merit list.

- While choosing the last list of candidates, NPAT score, group discussion, personal interview, split marks of 10th & 12th standard are considered by NMIMS. 

- NPAT examination has its own set of cut-off marks and some category wise internalization for admission in various categories such as open/ general, SC/ST/OBC etc.

- This test is given several times in a year, which is called the NMAT exam. The exams taken in 2023 would be for the admission in 2024 academic year.However, this should be read as would the examinations sat in the year 2023 be used for admission to the 2024 academic year.

- This is because the MBA program admission entrance scores and the conditions of eligibility may vary each year. For class of 2023, candidates must have a minimum of 50% marks in graduation.

NMIMS Bangalore MBA Selection Criteria

- The eligibility and admission into the program is determined by the candidate’s performance in NMIMS Common Management Aptitude Test (CMAT) and the graduation score.

- The basic structure of the selection process is that short-listed candidates have to face the Case Discussion (CD) and Personal Interview (PI) round.

- The final short listing criteria include CMAT score, academic performance, the work experience, and CD & PI rounds, where each criterion has equal importance.

- For freshers, the selection is done with reference to the marks obtained in 10th, 12th and graduation, CMAT score and performance at CD & PI rounds. Final year graduation with minimum 50% marks or any equivalent CGPA is necessary.

- For candidates with work experience, academic profiles are allocated 30% weight while work experience is given 20% weight. Together the entrance test, CD & PI contributes 50 percent of the criteria.

- Prior work experience is also not a requirement to enroll for this program. But, having prior work experience with some reputed organizations/industries will receive some preference in selection.

- Other factors include success records in extra co-curricular activities and community service.

- It is open for NMIMS-CET candidates and the admission is based on the merit list prepared by NMIMS University. The candidates must undergo and write this test.

- The application process is generally for enrolment in the next academic year and it begins in January while the entrance test is held between April and May. 

- Specific guidelines regarding the requirements to qualify for admissions, the dates by which one can register for the examination and the test, how the admission committee will select candidates, fee structure and other 2024 admission related information will be provided on the NMIMS Bangalore website by end of the year 2023.

NMIMS Bangalore B.Com How To Apply?

1. Application forms are available on the NMIMS Bangalore Admissions web-site or can be picked directly from the campus. There is also an online application that you can do through the website provided.

2. To apply, complete an application form with your biographical information, academic accomplishments, address, phone number etc.

3. You must ensure that you fulfill the basic requirements which include having passed your 10+2 or equivalent exam in any stream with at least 50% marks.

4. Submit the DD of the application fee or pay through online mode. The fee for the application form is more or less Rs 1,100/-.

5. Ensure that the documents that you need to submit are also enclosed with your application – mark sheets for 10th and 12th standard, ID proof, passport size photographs etc. 

6. When applying online, use scanned copies of documents and official papers in the process. If manual application, please attach photocopies of certificates; ensure that they are certified by the relevant authority.

7. Pay the NMIMS Bangalore B.Com fees and send the duly filled application form before the last date with all the relevant documents either online or offline as the case may be.
