 The Mahapurusha Srimanta Sankaradeva Viswavidyalaya (MSSV) is a state university at Nagaon in Assam, India. Formed in 2013, it is named after the medieval saint-scholar Srimanta Sankaradeva. MSSV provide academic courses at undergraduate and postgraduate levels to explore various disciplines such as arts, commerce, science, education, engineering and law. The B.A. in Assamese and the M.Com in Accounting and Finance are the two courses that attract maximum students. The annual exams are usually scheduled in November-December, and July-June is the month for supplementary exams if any are needed. For admissions in the year 2024, the application process will begin in the month of May 2024. Candidates can apply online or offline and appear for the examination like TDC/HS final examinations at relevant examination centers. The selection will be based on the candidates’ academic scores and performance in test/interview. Announcements of admission lists are done by August. The university has over 60 affiliated colleges and 10 PG departments on campus.'
