Indira Kala Sangeet Vishwavidyalaya (IKSV) in Khairagarh, Chhattisgarh is a flagship university that specializes in teaching the Indian classical music and the art of the nation. It was established in 1956 and delivers diploma, undergraduate and postgraduate programs as well as PhD degrees to cover the field of dance, music, visual arts, and theater. 

The university has about 600 students and the staff of the academy consists of high-level artists and scientists from all over the world. 1. Scholarships are the avenues which are made available for various areas of the performing arts including music, dance, drama, fine art, etc. at any level of the bachelors, masters, doctorate and diploma education.
2. College level starting of the undergraduate degree programs is determined by the Class 12 board examination outcomes. The only useful test could be used for some of them.
3. Employment of screening test including interview will greatly contribute to selection of students for admission to PG classes of IKSVV. This being the basic requirement, aspirants must hold a relevant degree.
4. For the PhD Program to hold, only masters degree holders can apply; the selection procedures will include written examinations, interviews, and others. Knowing or understanding theories or works behind the artwork could be of help too.
5. In the same manner, the interview or examination is carried out where grade 12 qualified candidates are qualified and graduates make in the Diploma course following some program prerequisites.
