Indian Institute of Foreign Trade Eligibility Criteria 2024

For MBA (International Business)
Graduated from a recognized university, minimum of 50% marks.
Valid GMAT/GRE/CAT/MAT/ATMA/XAT score.
For PhD
Masters degree/equal to that in relevant subject with a minimum of 55%.
Qualifying exams like UGC/CSIR-NET or others of the kind.
Executive MBA and the Part Time MBA
Bachelor degree with minimum CGPA of 50%.
Minimum 5 years of management experience.
For all programs
There are minimum percentage relaxations for reserved category as per government instruction.
In addition, the final year bachelor's degree students will also be able to apply.
NRI/foreign candidates get different admission process and eligibility conditions.

Indian Institute of Foreign Trade Admission Process 2024

1. Register for the (IIFT-GAT) entrance examination which takes place in early December of every year. The registration will generally be done in August.
2. Register for the IIFT-GAT examination. It has questions assessing your mental ability, reading comprehension, logical reasoning, general knowledge, and grammar.
3. Wait for IIFT to announce which will be published most probably in the last week of December. Make sure that you have got through the cut off marks.
4. Please proceed to the application page by clicking the "Apply Now" link once the application opens in January.Submit with required documents.
5. Wait for IIFT communication on the shortlists for the group discussion and personal interactive rounds from February to April based on application descriptions and GAT scores.
6. Apply for GD/PI if shortlisted. The final selection will be based on the composite score of your GAT and academic background along with work and performance in GD/PI.
