Eligibility:

- The one year LL.M. program having a minimum of 55% marks or the equivalent grade from a recognized university. These opportunities will be open to students who will be in thier last year of LL.M.

- Concession of 5% marks has been provided for eligible aspirants from the community of Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe/Persons with Disabilities category.

Documents Required:

- Completed application form

- Copy of the 10th, 12th certificate mark sheet and the certificates.

- After the electronic versions of the transcripts and law diplomas, original documents of the LL.B. and LL.M. certificates of completion are kept.

- An ideal resume should be endowed with those (if work certificates are applicable).

- NET/SLET/JRF certificates (if one holds a qualification) if it is relevant.

- Personal Letters - General (installment / at least 2).

- Research proposal

- If a candidate is already employed, an employer NOC (working staff) is required by him or her.

- Aadhar card

- Affirmation Certificate (available for SC/ST/PB applicants)

- Provide PWD certificate (if you have one) too.

- Nowadays, the passport photos of internationally accepted standard size are taken.

Chanakya National Law University Ph.D Selection Criteria

- Candidates will need a post Graduate in Law (LLM) with a minimum CGPA of 5.50 or fair equivalent.

- The admission course is both theoretical and practical. The written test comprises of two papers:The written test comprises of two papers:

1) Research Methodology - Questions which are objective based upon the research methods and legal research.

2) Area Expertise - Mark with objective questions to ascertain the reality of the area of research of the candidate's choice. Interviewees are  finalists for further process.

- During the interview, the candidates will be asked to present their research topics to a Research Committee. This committee will determine whether the applicant's interest/area is viable for funding. 

- The candidate’s competence in these two critical stages will determine selection and reservation. The corresponding academic record and experience is another thing that the recruitment process would take into consideration.

- Following the government reservation rules, the reserved categories candidates are reservded seats.

- Candidates who are shortlisted must submit their research proposal within a time period for approval with the registration of Ph.D being subjected to the proposal approval.

- The candidates who are eager to be admitted into a master's degree must have a bachelor's degree from any discipline from an accredited university. The other special programs in that regard have may have a set of the other specific criteria for the eligibility.

- I feel that the ultimate targets are the mark sheets for the 10th and the 12th.

Chanakya National Law University Post Graduate Diploma Selection Criteria

- A qualifying examination has been arranged by the respective universities to be used in the admission process. The test comprises objective style questions covering a broad range of topics including general awareness, analytical skills, and determining aptitude.

- Those for certain diplomas like intellectual property rights law also have both a group round of discussion and written entrance test.

- The contenders must be minimum graduates in any stream with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST candidates).

- The final decision will be made depending on the test result as well (including group discussion if so necessary). Along with their academic records ,work experience can be a factor.

- As per the government norms, the seats are reserved for particular categories comprising of the reserved groups such as SC, ST and physical handicapped students.

Chanakya National Law University Post Graduate Diploma How To Apply?

- CNLU has a range of PG diploma programs like intellectual property law, corporate and management law, cyber laws, alternative method of settlement and the rest.

- Being eligible for the application you have to have bachelor’s degree any discipline. Others may introduce additional criteria the student has to meet.

- The application window opens around the second half of the year through the website or newspaper notices (mostly during the April/May period).

- You are expected to accomplish the application form provided, and then submit other required documents with the application form; either online or offline, before the deadline. 

- Mandated documents include photocopies of certificates of education, experience certificate (if applicable), and ID card, among others.

- The application fee the paid through demand draft or online payment on the day of submission is required for the same.

Eligibility:

- Obtain LL.M. degree with at least 55% marks from a university which is a member of Bar Council. Additionally, The last-year LLM students can try it as well.

- The selection committee preponderantly give preference to candidates who have both teaching and research experience as full-time lawyers after their LL.M.

Documents Required:

- Completed application form

- To all concerned, institutions' we submit the LL.M. and certificates that the student has attended.

- To duplicate the original certificates of the graduation degree and the LL.B,

- (If any) Work experience certificates will be included.

- Involvement of well-designed research proposal that include aims, objectives, and hypothesis.

- Two references to be written by two professors or experts from the area of science related with the research to be carried out.

- For candidates who are employed, a Certification of No Objection needs to be obtained from the employer.

Admission Process:

Chanakya National Law University Doctorate of Law [L.L.D] Selection Criteria

- Educational Qualification: With a Master's degree in Law of at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade from a recognized university, the candidate needs to be an LLM graduate.

- Entrance Test: To clear the gate, the candidate has to break through the gates set by Chanakya National Law University. The test, which contains questions about research skill, legal concepts, case analysis, is designed to specifically evaluate the student's ability to apply learned legal principles to actual legal scenarios.

- Interview: During a written test, that those candidates qualify with 40% and above marks are considered for the interview. The interview is a qualifying factor that reviews the candidate's inquisitiveness, cognitive ability and research attitude. 

- Research Proposal: To participate, a candidate needs an initial research proposal of about 1000 words being a part of their application. Council of the Graduate Research Degree at the university assesses the research proposal for its quality and plausibility.

- Publication: The dissertation the candidate writes can be shared in any publication or presentation related to the LL.M topic as well as many other topical legal issues; this will add weightage to their application.

Application Process

- Applications must come with the notification which is sent from the university website or is published through announcements in the months of May – June.

- In your application, you are required to submit an elaborate study proposal together with the form.

- Other documents required are: copies of mark sheets/[diplomas], letters of recommendations, writing sample, and so on.

- The entrance process which entails the taking of a written exam and an interview with the panel of selectors is scheduled. A total of 45 participants who filled out applications are finally invited to attend our preliminary interviews.

- After short listing, decision will be based on research proposal, academic record, performance in an admission test, and interview. 

- It will include all the necessary information including how to submit an application, process, eligibility requirements, exam pattern etc. when the applications are invited for the job.
