Leading international English language test known as Occupational English Test (OET) was introduced by the Xian Institute of Commerce (XIC). OET testing provided by the XIC exams ensures that all healthcare professionals whose aim is to work in an English-speaking environment possess the required language communication skills to practice. 

The exam includes four components: LRS: Listening, Reading, Speaking, and Writing. it measures the candidates' knowledge in health care related terms in English, which would come in handy in the globe of different professions like nursing, medicine, pharmacy, physiotherapy, dentistry, and midwifery. The XIC OET test is given in an immense form of exam sessions; the number of test sessions are 1-2 per week and every test center is located in 59 countries all over the world and there is more than 195 test centers.

The test score will be posted in the XIN OET portal within 6 days (working days) following your exam date. Test takers are given a scoring report (with individual scores for each sub-test and the total test score ) , a statement of results and a functional language profile that describes the candidate's overall language ability.

How to Apply for XIC OET Exam 2024?

1. Visit the XIC OET website www.oet.xic.in, then click on 'Apply Now' or the 'Registrations Open' button. This may be a number of months before the exam

2. The account creation should take place by providing your personal details such as your name, email, phone number, and so on.

3. Log-on with the user id and password and complete the online application. By providing your personal details such as name, date of birth, qualification level English test will be optional, and the test center location etc.

4. Attach scanned copies of your passport/Aadhaar and suitable certificates of your qualification submit when asked. Ensure that submissions contain supporting documents that meet the requirements of the format and size.

5. Make your application fee payments through the online platform using your credit/debit card, net banking or UPI. The exam fees for OET 2024 will be posted on the website at an approximate time prior to the examinations.

6. You may print and download the application form with all pertinent data after successful transaction.

7. Keep track of your application status using your unique access credentials so that any problem hindering its progress can be fixed. Also on a later date, you can proceed to generate your admit card.

Documents Required for Apply XIC OET Exam 2024

- Scanned copy of medical/nursing degree/ diploma- one of the requirement of registering for the OET exam is the submission of a scanned copy of your primary medical or nursing qualification. We would need this to verify your qualification.

- Registration charges - At the time of the examination booking you are mandated to deposit the examination and test fees. The passengers can make transactions online via net banking, credit card or other mechanism as per their convenience.
