The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission has the responsibility to conduct the examination for Assistant Prosecution Officer, more commonly referred to as the APO exam, for the purpose of recruiting prospective Assistant Prosecution Officers in the Uttar Pradesh state. This examination is at the state level, written test consisting of the General Studies paper 1 and 2, the optional Law papers 1 and 2. It evaluates the candidates in terms of knowledge about Indian polity, economy, law, reasoning and other subject areas that are important.
Currently, the UPPSC APO recruitment process is to provide an opportunity for hiring about 63 APOs; however, this number can change annually. It is regarded somewhat on the competitive side given thousands of passes law graduates sitting for a few vacancies. The written test is conducted and after that candidates undergo a personality test to select the best candidates for an organization.

1. Check Eligibility
First of all, each candidate has to fulfill the basic requirements set by the UPPSC in terms of age, education, and citizenship Hence, only individuals with a law degree are eligible to apply for this position.
2. Fill Application Form
After the notification is out, the aspirants are required to complete the online application process on the official website of UPPSC. Ensure that the details and documents submitted are real and scan the documents before uploading them.
3. Pay Application Fees
The application fee would be applicable and the amount in this regard will be Rs.125 for unreserved/OBC and Rs.65 for SC/ST candidates and will have to be paid online.
4. Download Confirmation Page
Once you have completed your application, always ensure that you download your confirmation page and the fee receipt for future use. Xerox these as copies for printing.
5. Appear in Exam
In case your application is considered, then you have to download your admit card accordingly and sit for the prelims and mains written exam scheduled for the given dates.
