UPPCL JE is a state level recruitment examination conducted by the Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Limited for presenting the contenders to the post of Junior Engineer in different sectors. This is one of the most important engineering examinations in Uttar Pradesh where thousands of engineers as well as degree/diploma holders come forward to take this examination every year. 

The UPPCL JE exam has a written part, further into two parts where Paper I comprises of objective type questions on general awareness, reasoning, general science etc., Paper II comprises of subjective type questions based on technical and job related aspects. Students must also attain a certain cutoff on each of the papers to get to the next stage which is document verification. 

The last decision is on its merit list after considering written test result and candidate’s documents, education and experience. As of now, we do not have the dates for the exam of JE recruitment 2024 but it is expected to be conducted in the month of July-August as it is conducted every year. It is believed that the application for the test would take about 2-3 months before the actual test. The results usually take between 1-2 months from the date of the examination. JE specializations are categorized into civil, electrical, and mechanical streams and 600 to 800 vacancies are anticipated for 2024. Passing the UPPCL JE test helps engineers get employed in the state power sector for their careers.
