The Uttar Pradesh National Health Mission (UP NHM) Staff Nurse exam is a written examination for the selection of candidates to the post of Staff Nurse in the Uttar Pradesh National Health Mission, which will join the government hospitals and health facilities in Uttar Pradesh. It is considered to be one of the most sought after exams for the recruitment of nurses in Uttar Pradesh. The UP NHM staff nurse exam tends to include a written assessment that is based on questions from nursing courses such as fundamentals of nursing, medical surgical nursing, obstetrics/gynecology nursing, pediatric nursing, and anatomy/physiology. Other questions asked for previous year exam patterns also went as far as testing the candidates’ general awareness, reasoning ability, and numerical skills. For candidates who pass the written test, there is document verification for those who are selected to proceed to this level.
The last round of the selection is dependent on the scores obtained in the written test along with the document check. As for the UP NHM nursing exam 2024, the authorities may release the notification in mid-2023. The written test will possibly occur in between August-October 2024. Consequently the final result, the selection list can be expected to be out by end of 2024 or early 2025. The exact result date varies depending on the number of applicantions received and the process it takes to release the result of that particular exam year.
