UBTER JEEP i.e. ‘Uttarakhand Board of Technical Education Joint Entrance Examination Polytechnic’ is a state-level competitive examination given by Uttarakhand Board of Technical Education to students who desire to be selected for polytechnic courses offered by UBTER-affiliated institutes. Aiming at screening candidates for enrollment into diploma programs in civil engineering, computer science and engineering, electronics and communication engineering, information technology, automobile engineering, mechanical engineering, etc., the exam seeks to survey candidates into relevant programs.
The UBTER JEEP exam comprise of 100 questions in Mathematics, Chemistry and Physics from objective-type multiple choice questions, and the time duration of 2 hours will be there for solving the questions. The subjects of the exam are more or less equivalent to the classes we learn in 11-12 grade. The exam in the most cases takes place from May to June every year.

| Tie-Breaking Criteria | In case of a tie in the merit rank, the following criteria will be used to break the tie, in the order mentioned: |
- Admit card/hall ticket - This can be used to access the website for the checking of the result. The admit card display vital details and my roll or registration number so i can access my result.
- Valid ID proof - A government-issued photo ID card such Aadhaar card, driving license, etc may be enough along with your admit card. If you have to check result in person, then please bring these with your admit card.
- Exam registration details - Application or registration number, or other credentials that come in hand while taking the registration are markers of such details.
- Basic details of self - Like name, date of birth, or mobile number which you entered while filling the exam form will probably be asked while filling the exam.
