TSSPDCL AE exam is a recruitment examination organized by the Telangana State Power Utilities for the candidates who wishes to join as Assistant Engineer in the different departments of the Telangana State Southern Power Distribution Company Limited. The AE exam tests the candidates on the Engineering disciplines associated with the position such as electrical engineering, power systems and transmission, distribution; and language proficiency and aptitude. It is slightly above average competition level and the selection rate of candidates is between 1-3%. 

The AE exam pattern in TSSPDCL generally includes written test with 120 objective type questions and tests the knowledge of candidates on technical aspects as well as aptitude. A candidates who have been shortlisted are normally required to provide some documents then undergo for an interview which forms the basis of selection. It is usually a yearly affair, and the 2024 exam could take place in August-September based on earlier years’ trends. The final list along with the roll number of the selected candidates is normally announced within 2-3 months of written examination.
