The Telangana SET can be perceived as the exam for teachers, which is being held by Osmania University for the purpose of admitting new teachers in the educational institutions of Telangana on behalf of the government of this state. The main aim of the TS SET is to consider the candidate for the eligibility to apply for the post of Assistant Professor in the universities and college in the state of Telangana. It assesses a candidate’s understanding and proficiency level in the study subject he or she has chosen. It evaluates teaching capacities in addition to the general intelligence of the individual. TS SET is conducted every year and the test takers belong to 41 different departments of humanities, social sciences, sciences, commerce, education, physical education, and library science. The exam is done in a traditional paper mode where the candidate is provided with a pen and paper.
The TS SET 2024 exam date has not been released to the public by the officials but it is expected to be released soon. After declaring the vacancies, all eligible and interested candidates can apply for the posts through submission of their filled application forms with the required fees through online mode only. TS SET 2023 result is usually announced within 30 to 40 days from the day of the examination was held. Candidates who secure a minimum eligibility cut-off marks in the said examination can then apply for Assistant Professor position in all the government, aided and self-financing degree colleges located in Telangana State which is a part of the recognized universities in the Telangana state. The further TS SET exam will be conducted in the month of July/August 2024.

Usually, applicants pledge their application fees through credit/debit card, net banking, or UPI. Save the payment receipt.
