Telangana State Post Graduate Law Common Entrance Test

TS LAWCET produces the tile of Telangana State Law Common Entrance Test (TS LAWCET) and it is the statewide level exam that is organized by Celso law Common Entrance Test (TS LAW CET) authority for admissions into 3 years and 5 years LLB programs offered by law colleges of The Telangana state. The exam is held, as per the schedule given by TSCHE, by Osmania University on its behalf. The LAWCET test questionnaires consists of MCQs assessing candidates' proficiency in General English, current affairs, aptitude and reasoning. The examination period is 90 minutes. Only candidates who have secured qualifying marks in TS LAWCET will be included in counseling whereas seat allotment will be done based on the candidate's rank, his preferences, available seats etc.

TS LAWCET 2024 notification is expected to publish in March 2024 through leading daily and on official site - www.lawcet.tsche.ac.in. The registration process is very probable to start in the same month, in which the registration process is expected to begin. A TS LAWCET exam in 2024 is likely to be organized in May or June of 2024. The outcome in terms of the results of the tests scores and ranking is prepared within a few weeks of the entrance test period. Candidates who have cleared the cut-off percentage will proceed for the counseling-cum-confirmation rounds that will be organized by TSCHE for placement into various institutes of the participating law colleges. The detail of when examinations are going to be scheduled in 2024 will be unveiled near the exam date by Osmania University.

TS PGLCET Qualifying Exams 2024 Details
Passed Graduation Candidates must have passed their graduation in any discipline from a recognized university with at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/BC candidates).
Recognized University The university from which the candidate has passed their graduation must be recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) or any other competent authority.
Discipline The candidate can pass their graduation in any discipline, irrespective of their proposed PG Law specialization.
Minimum Marks The minimum marks requirement for General category candidates is 50%, while for SC/ST/BC candidates, it is 45%.

Documents Required for TS PGLCET Exam Registration 2024

1. Either offline or online, TS PGLCET 2024 application form should be completed filling the necessary information.

2. Proof of DOB - Birth Certificate, SSC Certificate/ mark sheet, showing born date.

3. NOTE: In qualifying exam marks memo, I am requesting for intermediate marks memorandum or provisional certificate.

4. - Caste certificates (in case available) - SC/ST/OBC certificates issued by authorized bodies.

5. PH/CAP certificate (if needed) - the meaning of which is the physical disability of children from armed forces issued by the competence body. 

6. Regional qualifying certificate (if applicable) - Certificate of local candidate issued by the authority if claiming admission through regional quota.

7. Aadhar card - It can help to improve the overall security of the online application process and also to serve as an identity proof.

8. Passport size picture -Scanned high resolution picture with clear face profile to be used in online application.

9. Checking of registration fee and exam fee payment - The student has to submit the proof of mode of payment of registration and exam fee (Online or Offline) by way of providing the receipt.
