TS PECET (Telangana State Physical Education Common Entrance Test) is an entrance exam conducted at the state level by Mahatma Gandhi University on behalf of the Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) to provide admission opportunities in the colleges and universities in Telangana to students in Bachelor of Physical Education (BPEd) and Diploma in Physical Education (DPEd) The test is devised to see the students' aptitudes in sports and their physical fitness competencies in order to select the candidates for admission into various physical courses.
The Physical Efficiency Test, along with the Physical Fitness Test are conducted to assess the candidates' athletic potential. The physical skills test comprises of different sports such as athletics, basketball, football, hockey, handball, etc. Students take part in this test to test their capabilities. The test of physical fitness measures parameters like strength, speed, agility, endurance. This is done by use of various activities such as sprints, push ups, sit ups among others. In 2024, it will be announced, and applications will be open in March. The exam will certainly take place in June of 2024. The outcome of the poll will be available on the official website the 24th of July, 2024 at pecet.tsche.ac.in. The final steps towards seat allotment with an authorized college will be counseling sessions mandated.
