TGUGCET (Telangana Gurukul Common Entrance Test) is an entrance exam conducted by two societies of Telangana State: Telangana Social Welfare Residential Educational Institutions Society (TSWREIS) and Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Telangana Backward Classes Welfare Residential Educational Institutions Society (MJPTBCWREIS) for their admission The examination is intended to providequality and inexpensive training service run by residential schools to down-trodden sections of society. 

Typically, the TGUGCET is scheduled to be conducted in every April of each year. While the coming academic year 2024-2025 admissions which is supposed to be in the last week of April 2024 is in progress, it is open to the general public for registration till the due date. The exam will cover the topics such as mathematics, general science, social studies, and language. It will be testing students ability. The candidates who qualify the entrance test will get their marking lists prepared, which will be based on their marks they have scored as well as the reservation norms. Pedagogues will select students of the Class 5 to study in Gurukul Schools in the state from the academic session 2024-24.
