SSC CHSL Exam 2024: Recruitment, Eligibility, Exam Pattern

Every year Staff Selection Commission of India conducts the Combined Higher Secondary Level (CHSL) Exam for recruiting suitable candidates to be employed as Lower Divisional Clerks (LDC), Junior Secretariat Assistants (JSA), Postal Assistants (PA), Sorting Assistants (SA) and Data Entry Operators (DEO) in various departments and organizations of the Government of India. The SSC CHSL test includes three Phases, namely Tier-1,Tier-2 and Tier-3. The Tier-1 test is a Computer Based Test following an Objective type of questions in General Intelligence & Reasoning, Numerical Aptitude, English Comprehension and General Awareness.

Candidates who qualified for the Tier-1 scrutiny will then write the Tier-2 paper which is an essay type that measures writing skills. Then see the final candidates go for Tier-3 test, which is a skill test or typing test. As per the SSC notification, Date of announcement of results for CHSL Tier-1 exam 2021 exam are 17th February, 2023 on the official website. The registration process for SSC CHSL 2024 exam will start in November 2023, followed by the online Tier-1 online exam from 4th April to 21st April 2024. Next year, SSC will specify the details of notification, eligible criteria and standard of the exam.
