SRM stand for SRM Health Sciences Common Admission Test. It is a SRM Institute of Science and Technology university level entrance test to offer something like SRMIST’s undergraduate and graduate health sciences programs in campuses and college constituents.
The SRMHI CAT is a computer-based multiple-selection questions paper of 3 hours duration. It tests candidates on four key areas, including biology, chemistry, physics, English language and comprehension skills, all of which are directly related to courses in health science, like medicine, nursing, pharmacy, physiotherapy, public health, etc. The entrance exam is held to select eligible candidates for different SRM campuses offering listed programs, i.e medical, dental, allied health sciences, pharmacy and nursing.
The base condition for the consideration is passing in class 12th or equivalent qualification examination with suitable subjects from the authorised board. The SRMHCAT 2024 exam dates and application form submission usually occurs in November 2023 on the official website at www.srmhc.in. In India, the exams’ cities have different locations. However, by that time, the wait is over as the results are announced a few weeks later. Chosen candidates have their spots reserved according to their appointment schedules to counseling sessions before their official admission is effected for academic year 2024 in any of the SRM health sciences programmes.
