South Indian Bank Clerk examination is an aptitude test organized by the South Indian Bank Limited/SIB to select suitable candidates to work as Junior Clerk in the bank. It is one of the recognised competitive exams in South India which provides opportunity to join as Bank Officers after clearing preliminary, mains and interview. The preliminary examination consists of objective type questions to measure the candidates quantitative ability, reasoning skill, English language skill and knowledge of the world. Candidates who pass the prelims then sit for the main exam that includes questions in general English, banking, computer, awareness- general/financial, arithmetic abilities.
Last, the candidates are tested on their interview skills, and the best among them are hired. The final decision, therefore, is made in consideration of the candidate’s performance in the main examination as well as the interview session. According to the exam schedule, South Indian Bank Clerk exam 2024 is expected to be conducted in May-June 2024. Normally, the notification is sent at least one to two months before the coming exam dates. As mentioned earlier, the South Indian Bank releases the results of the preliminary and main exams conducted, and it can be accessed on the official website of the South Indian Bank.

The selection process typically involves two stages:
Online Exam: This is a computer-based test with multiple-choice questions.
