The SJVN Junior Field Engineer examination is a Computer Based Test that is held by the Satluj Jal Vidyut Nigam Limited (SJVN) to select candidates for the position of Junior Field Engineer. It is among the most taken examinations by students seeking engineering courses because of a good employment prospects and upward job mobility at SJVN. This role requires the Junior Field Engineer’s supervisor of construction sites, management of workers, monitoring and maintenance of quality, responsibility for technical papers, and so much more.
The written exam for the SJVN Junior Field Engineer is in two stages, while the second stage involves interview. Technical part comes in the form of the written test which consists of 120 multiple choice questions from technical disciplines such as electrical engineering, electronics, computer science, civil, mechanical engineering etc The candidates lose 25 marks for each incorrect answer. Students having a rank in the written examination are invited for an interview which is of 75 marks.
