The SIDBI or Small Industries Development Bank of India conducts this test to recruit candidates for the position of Assistant Manager in various branches of the bank. It is one of the most competitive examinations held in India for the recruitment to banking sector. The SIDBI Assistant Manager exam tests the candidate in quantitative skill, reasoning ability, language skill especially English and the subject knowledge test includes economics, finance and banking. The examination scheme is in two parts; the written exam which has multiple choice questions and the interview session.
SIDBI Assistant Manager exam is likely to take place every year, or in most years, in the months of July and August of the subsequent year, in this case, 2023. For most exams, the official notification is released along with application form and it is usually released 3 months prior to the exam. The written examination results are announced within a month of the date for which the test was conducted. Candidates shortlisted for a particular post are required to attend the interview session, and subsequently, the final selected list is created. The entire recruitment process takes around 3- 4 months including the stages of job analysis, advertisement, screening, selection, offer making, and joining.
