The SBI PO( Probationary Officer) exam comes under the State Bank of India to select candidates for the power of Probationary Officer. It is the nation's most popular bank exam. SBI PO Exam is broken down to 3 stages - Preliminary, Mains and Interview. The preliminary paper consists of 100 questions from the Quantitative Aptitude, Verbal Ability and English Language sections. Clearing the minimum marks in prelims entails the candidates to appear for the mains where there is 4 sections namely- English, Data analysis, Reasoning & Computer and General/Banking/Economy Awareness. The last exercise is a practical round in form of an interview where the candidate's personality and communication skills are tested. The final merit list is created by summing up the scores from different sections of mains paper and personal interview. Bitten-off candidates work during probation phase (2 years) and are subsequently given fully qualified status upon successful completion. As the calendar of the SBI PO 2024 progresses, we expect that the preliminary exam will be scheduled in the April-May month of 2024 SBI plans to announce the ensuing dates on its website 2-3 weeks after each phase of the exam. The spared nominees take the next financial year, namely 2025, as their starting year.
