Examining and evaluating the Specialist Advanced Introductory Certificate of Economics Practice (SAI CEP) The SAI CEP is an online certification examination conducted by the ITEE, a division of ICAI in Economics and Business policy. The SAI CEP examination in particular is expected to test participant’s knowledge about fundamental economics and recognize their capability in carrying out economic policy analysis. It includes areas such as macro and micro-economic theory, public finance, money and banking international economics, and development economics. It is intended for finance specialists, business executives, policy makers, scholars, academics and students desiring updated knowledge in applied economics.
The SAI CEP is a challenging type of examination that seeks to assess both the knowledge of the economic concepts as well as the ability to analyze and evaluate the contents. This is an exam which is computer based and it takes three hours and consists of one hundred multiple choice questions. As a matter of fact, the qualifying standard to pass the exam is 60 percent or above. The SAI CEP exams are held twice in a year, specifically during May and November. The online registration is possible in February 2024 for those who wish to write the SAI CEP exam in May 2024. In most cases, the test results are released within one month of the examination period.
