RRB stands for Railway Recruitment Board and they conduct examinations like the Junior Engineer examination in order to recruit people for Technical posts in the Indian Railways. The RRB JE Mechanical Engineering examination is held to appoint mechanical engineers to serve at workshops, manufacturing centers, and engine branches in the various zones of Indian Railway.
The Railway Recruitment board JE Mechanical exam was held in the year 2022 and the result was declared in November 2024. The exam conducted in the computer-based test first stage for the selection of candidates was attended by more than 1.5 lakh candidates. The next RRB JE exam notification will be released in mid 2023 for recruiting Mechanical engineers for year 2024, based on the official website. These vacancies and exam dates will be conveyed in the official notification that will be released by the RRB. Applicants which are selected in shortlist can join from the beginning of 2025 by passing all the steps of the selection procedure. The RRB JE exam is very large scale as a huge number of mechanical engineers appear for it every year for a government job. To succeed at the LAC, it is essential to prepare well in technical subjects such as strength of materials, thermodynamics, design, etc. on the one hand and aptitude sections on the other.
