The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) is the national level entrace examination for law programs of undergraduate and post graduate levels offered by 22 National Law Universities in India. REVA University is one of the reputed private universities in Bangalore, which uses CLAT scores as a criterion for admission into its integrated BA LLB program and LLB program (3 years duration) offered at School of Legal Studies.
The CLAT exam is designed in such a manner that it aims to evaluate the skill of a candidate in areas such as English, current affairs including general knowledge, legal reasoning, logical reasoning, and quantitative techniques. The test is conducted in an offline exam that is a pen-paper basis exam and the students have to solve 200 multiple-choice questions within 2 hours. The examination is to be considered difficult as only a few candidates scoring more than 50% marks in total of 200 marks are able to clear it.
