The Rajasthan Teachers’ Eligibility Test is a state test conducted once a year for the purpose of recruiting teachers for the classes 1 to 8 in the government schools of Rajasthan. REET predicts the candidate’s ability to teach at the primary and upper primary level for the appointment as teachers. It comprises two tests: Level 1 for primary teachers who teach up to the third level and Level 2 for teachers teaching at the fourth level and above. Any one exam or both exams can be written by the candidates on the basis of their qualification. Two out of the four papers are compulsory and the other two are optional, with the REET exam assessing teaching skills, subject content knowledge, logical thinking, and more. The REET results are announced generally in the month of December and January within 45 days. In fact, the test dates for 2024 are still unknown, as there are still years before the world arrives at the specified future year. However, by analyzing the exam calendar of the previous year, we can predict that the REET 2024 will likely be conducted in July/August. Details about the exam dates of the final exam, procedure of application, pattern of the examination, and the issue of admission cards will be published in the newspapers and official websites a few months before the conduct of the REET exam in 2024.
