PU MET (Punjab University Management Entrance Test) is a University level exam which is conducted annually by university of Panjab, Chandigarh which aims at admission into management programs offered at different campuses and institutes. The examination is, therefore, intended to gauge the aptitude, reasoning ability as well as the capability to undertake English and quantitative concepts by the candidates seeking to enroll in an MBA and other postgraduate management programmes. The PU-MET, which is usually held in the month of May every year, has 100 multiple choice questions for each section, which contain 200 questions in all, divided equally among the four sections, each of which has to be completed in a time of 21⁄2 hours.

The test seeks to evaluate students on the following topics: mathematical proficiency, data interpretation, logical reasoning, English communication and verbal capability. According to the timelines announced by the University, the Panjab University MET 2024 is supposed to be held during the second or third week of May 2024, as mentioned by the schedule released by the university. As a rule, the result of the test is declared within 20 days since the examination. Candidates who have passed the entrance test will have to apply for the counseling session individually, and only then they will be assigned the college they will be studying in by the end of June.
