The Odisha Staff Selection Commission OSSC is an organization that is responsible for conducting several exams in the state of Odisha for recruiting eligible candidates for various posts in government and other establishments. They are able to sit for OSSC recruitment exams depending on the level of the OSSC recruitment exams which include certificate level, diploma level, graduate level and post graduate level. Some of the prominent OSSC exams are as follows: Combined Auditor Exam, Combined Police Service Exam, Junior Clerk exam, Junior Assistant exam among others.
The OSSC has a written examination and a skill test for some of the categories of the posts. The written examination evaluates the candidate’s knowledge, his/her general intelligence, his/her ability to reason and his/her ability to perform numerical computations considering the nature of the post. All the exams are conducted in English and Odia language. When the written examination results are released, the candidates who qualify are called for document verification and a skills assessment. The selection list in final form provides roll numbers of the candidates who have qualified.
