The Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) Group C – this exam is conducted by Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti for non-teaching staff recruitments in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas across the country. The exam is conducted to recruit candidates in different Group C positions such as Lower Division Clerk (LDC), Female Staff Nurse, Catering Assistant, and Laboratory Assistant and so on. 

The written test that the candidates are required to sit for in the NVS Group C exam includes assessment of general intelligence, numeracy, English language proficiency and general knowledge. The written assessment is written test; it’s an objective type of test that contains multiple choice questions. That is due to the fact that the skill/typing test those candidates who successfully passed the written test are required to sit for is just qualifying in nature. The final process to decide the candidate involves taking a written test and skill test to determine the candidate most suitable for the job.

How to Apply for NVS Group C Exam 2024?

1. To check the Group C recruitment, one needs to visit the official website of NVS or read the employment newspaper where the notification for the same is given. It is usually during mid-2023 for the 2024 exam preparation time.

2. Read through the contents of the notification quickly to familiarise yourself with the vacancy, eligibility criteria, examination pattern, etc, and ensure that you meet the requirements.

3. Check out relevant announcements and get registered on the online application portal which is typically opened at the same time. Sign up an account and complete the registration form

4. Scanned copies of photograph, signature, certificates etc. as per the prescribed size are required to be uploaded. 

5. Pay the application fees online using different payment methods provided through the payment gateways. This is due to the fact that the fees vary depending on the category that the doctor belongs to. 

6. Fill the NVS application form and save and/or print Acknowledgement. Therefore do not wait for the last date for submitting your work.

7. In the need for sending the application and the documents in print, use the post. Check notification for such needs."

8. Hall ticket to be uploaded on the website a couple of weeks prior to the written exam. Download and print it

9. Write Tier I, Tier II examination as per the exam schedule and pass mark at a designated Centre. 

10. After every stage, scan the results online. Applicants are subjected to document verification and skill test sessions by the hiring organization.
