The National Testing Agency (NTA) that is responsible for the conduct of the Delhi University (DU) Non-Teaching exam for the purpose of recruitment to different non-teaching posts within colleges and departments affiliated to the University of Delhi. The objective of the exam is to shortlist individuals for the vacant posts such as the assistant registrar, administrative officer, assistant, junior assistant, laboratory assistant etc. The whole selection process involves a computer-based test (CBT) to be done through multiple-choice questions, which check the general intelligence and reasoning, quantitative aptitude, English language and comprehension, general awareness and questions to be done for the concerned posts and discipline.
The reserved category candidates that include ST, SC, and OBC candidates must score 35% in the qualifying marks and the non-reserved candidates must score 40% in the same. The names of the successful candidates are placed at the final merit list, depending on their scores in the computer-based test. This year alone, there were over 15,000 aspirants who took the entrance examination at Delhi University for non-teaching jobs. The examination is mandated in cities like Delhi, Chandigarh, and Srinagar. It was scheduled as per the examination calendar for DU non-teaching exam this year which will be held in February 2024. The expected announcement of the outcome is scheduled to take place on the website in March 24.
