The NRL GET is the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Graduate Entrance Test which is conducted for admissions to MTech program in various NITs, IIESTs, IISERs and other CFTIs in the country. The GET exam is intended to be a test of a particular candidate’s engineering, scientific, and mathematical ability at an undergraduate level. It consists of 150 multiple choice questions; Part A is composed of the core subjects of the qualifying degree program and Part B consist of questions related to general aptitude and analysis. The exam is available only in the computer-based test format online.
It is important to note that the NRL GET 2024 exam dates have not been released yet, and they are likely to be out by November 2023. The results of the test will be declared as a tentative result within a week of the entrance test and the final result will be declared within 3 weeks. Accordingly, the candidates will be given their choices filled in scores to be allotted to different CFTIs through counseling sessions. The exam will check knowledge of basics of undergraduate engineering and the skills to decide whether a candidate is fit for a postgraduate programme in technology and research fields under the IITs and other premier engineering institutes in India.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical/Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics & Communication/Civil/Computer Science) from a recognized university. - Final year students appearing for their final semester exams are also eligible.

The official notification for NRL GET (Graduate Engineer Trainee) vacancies for 2024 has not yet been released by Numaligarh Refinery Limited (NRL). However, based on past trends and ongoing expansion projects, we can expect recruitment to take place sometime in the second half of 2024.
