The Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination Board or popularly known as Vyapam is responsible for conducting the examination to recruit middle school teachers for the government schools in the state through the Madhya Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test or MPTET. The MPTET middle school teacher exam is set with an aim of evaluating the competency of candidates for teaching classes 6 to 8.
The MPTET middle school teacher exam consists of two papers, and the first paper assesses the teaching method and ability of the candidates whereas the second paper covers the abilities of the candidates in the chosen teaching subjects. The marks for each paper are also 150 with 150 multiple choice questions. For this, the minimum requirements are 60% aggregate mark in both papers for those seeking a place in the program.

1. Visit the official website of MP Vyapam (www.vyapam.nic.in) to find notice regarding the commencement of the application process. This normally happens, one year before the exams
2. Make certain that you fulfill the requirements of employment as set by MP Vyapam including age, education and other factors that the company might deem relevant for the middle school teaching position; for this one requires possessors of a Bachelors in Education (B.ED) degree
3. First they will have to sign up for the MP Online portal (www.mponline.gov.in) and create a login id. This is to enable him/her complete and submit the online application form in a bid to start applying for jobs.
4. Submit the application fees that may be between Rs 500-800 for the general category. It can be done through Internet banking, debit/credit card, Unified Payment Interface (UPI) etc.
5. MP Vyapam teacher application form has to be filled in a proper manner and the photos, signatures, scanned copies of caste certificates, qualifications etc., has to be uploaded in a prescribed size.
6. After completing the application form to the relevant authority, ensure you go through all the information filled in to avoid mistakes. You should save the printout of the form for further use.
7. In case of being shortlisted for the positions, write the written examination and interview on the dates as well as venues that will be communicated later. Communication of dates is made through issuance of hall ticket/admit card before the examination.
