MAH M Arch CET (Maharashtra Master of Architecture Common Entrance Test) is the entrance admissions examination worldwide for admission into the 5 years of BArch (Bachelor of Architecture) program in the respective colleges of Maharashtra. It is organized by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) Maharashtra and the number of participants in the last 3-4 years has been around 8-9 thousand, primarily students who are aspiring to be architects.
One paper tests general aptitude, mathematics, and analytical skills through multiple-choice type questions; the second paper assesses your drawing ability, and you are required to sketch and draw based on the questions it asks. Admission is granted on the basis of high scores in the entrance exam & class XII scores, NATA scores, and active sports/cultural participation.
The Exam date for the MAH M Arch CET 2023 is yet to be announced by DTE Maharashtra, but the Exam is conducted in the month of May/June every year. In June 2022, the exam was carried out in an online mode due to coronavirus pandemic as an offline exam was impossible at the time. On the 17th of June, there was the election of the outcome.
Tentatively speaking CET M Arch MAH 2024 can be scheduled in the first week of June or the second week as per the dates, MAHBTCET announced. Rewarding declared by the authority after 2-3 weeks from the date of the entrance exam. The shortlisted candidates may choose to seek admissions at the 5-year BArch undertaking institutions admissions rounds of Maharashtra through CAP counselling sessions.

The MAH M.Arch CET 2024 admit card will be released tentatively in the last week of March 2024. Candidates can download their admit cards from the official website of the State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra. - Your exam location must be familiar to you, including both the route you are supposed to take and where the testing center is located to avoid problems on the day of your test. Consider when you will leave and how you will reach the place you scheduled to visit in advance.
- Make sure to get enough sleep and have a good breakfast the night before you compete. This brings a sense of clarity and alertness which helps you feel prepared to take on the day.
- Arrive early - the recommended time would be 30 minutes before the arrival. This extra time will give you a chance to work out any last minute problems and to get comfortable with a new environment.
- Submit the dual with ID proof, take a pencil, pencil, pens, and an eraser, bring a water bottle. Be sure to have every thing with you you might need.
- Do not bring invite unwanted items like mobile phones, smart watch etc. Ensure the take permitted calculators/items to the test/prompter
- Through remaining calm and focused. Say to yourself that exams are not the end of the world and that you may go talk to someone after you write exams. If you are one of those people who likes revising, then this is right for you.
- Pay particular attention to instructions of all invigilators and do not hesitate to ask for additional explanations if you do not grasp any.
- Try to examine the questions fully and plan your time well so you will be able to complete all sections. Give no thought to the questions you are stuck and mark them for coming back to.
