The Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) Senior Secretariat Assistant exam is the examination conducted by the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan to select talented candidates for posting as Senior Secretariat Assistant in KVS offices in India. This one of the most popular exams conducted by them to recruit various posts in the central government and thousands of candidates apply for it every year. The exam has three phases before passing the final exam, and these are; the initial exam that comprises of tests on general intelligence, reasoning ability, numerical ability, and English language tests. The candidates who clear the preliminary examination write the main examination which is conducted in the descriptive format to examine general knowledge and the overall intelligence of the candidate.
Lastly, there is a Round of Skill test to measure the typing test speed and correctness of the applicants. The estimated number of vacancies for Senior Secretariat Assistants in KVS stands at nearly 1100-1200. Therefore, based on the trends, One can expect the official KVS SSE exam notification for 2024 to be out between October & November 2023. The prelims exam may be conducted in February 2024, as indicated in the given table. The final list for selected candidates may be expected by May-June 2024 for the results. Regarding the exact dates of the exams and the number of available vacancies, the KVS will communicate this in due course.
