The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) in its capacity as the responsible body holds the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) annually for the purpose of student admissions into several undergraduate professional courses in the State of Karnataka. KCET: Across Karnataka, it is a state-level entrance exam that serves as a means for the students to obtain admission into engineering, agriculture, veterinary, pharmacy and other professional degree courses offered by various colleges in the state.
The KCET exam includes physics, chemistry, mathematics tests, and biology. The month of April or May in each year is usually when the screening is held. This year the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) yet to announce the dates for the KCET exams 2023. The test centers shall in short be defined, after the announcement of the exam. The KEA will schedule the KCET exams in April or May, and consequently announce the results in May or June. This will allow the candidates who qualify the exam to experience the counselling process so as to allocate them seats in their preferred colleges and courses.
The KEA website will be the source to obtain all the information related to KCET 2024 exam dates and other aspects around September-October 2023. Students can be provided with the type of courses, eligibility criteria, exam pattern and other KCET related information on the KEA website; before they register for the entrance exam in 2024.
